Springfield Daylilies' nursery is situated at Banksia Farm "Hayes Siding", in the Eastern Cape. Located 9km from Port Alfred on the R67 to Grahamstown.
Banksia Farm is a picturesque setting for our wide array of daylilies. This robust, sun-loving plant comes in an astounding palette of colours; hot spicy oranges and yellows, sultry shades of dark burgundy red, smoky, near black violets and shimmering pastels in lilacs, pinks and creams. They appear in a multitude of shapes and sizes; minis, doubles, spider flowered with edges and ruffled borders of gold and white, chocolate and crimson. Our spectacular big-eyed beauties, watermarked in lilac on soft pastel pink will astound you with their originality and beauty. Daylilies are hardy and easy to grow. We select varieties, not only for their beauty, but also to produce more blooms, shorter scapes, compact plants and to increase their flowering season. We are constantly in the process of improving the strength and variety of our stock.
Our aim is to provide a wide range of these beautiful perenials, at an affordable price, to the entire spectrum of the market. From proffessional landscapers and nurserymen to the private gardener. When the lilies are in full bloom from October through to February, the spectacle of colour is truly a sight to behold.
